Zum Wehrdamm in Bad Kosen

Eggs stayed for two nights and we enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended.

Price-performance ratio, very good home-style cuisine, clean, tidy and very nice and friendly hosts.

Terrace at the weir very nice! Coffee and cake should be avoided!

Very tasty and friendly. You sit on the terrace directly at the weir of the Saale. That is very impressive if a little loud :)

I got a freshly sparkling beer in the outside area which was good. Then I ordered a second beer, plus the homemade jelly with roaster. The food was good, but the 2 beers didn't match the 1 beer. It had no carbonic acid whatsoever and didn't taste good, there were glasses with beer at the next table, and you could see the carbon dioxide rising in the glass. I complained to the waiter / owner. What happened next was absolutely unacceptable to me, the waiter / owner instructed me in a loud tone in front of the assembled guests on the terrace and later in the dining room, when I asked why the beer in the glass of other guests sparkled, but not in my second beer, broke he ends the conversation in a loud tone. I didn't eat the 2 beers, the waiter / owner insisted on full payment. So an otherwise beautiful day in Bad Kösen came to an end

The staff is very nice, they are served and served quickly, the food was delicious, fresh and inexpensive. Equipment rather dusty, patio available but nothing special, large umbrellas to protect against sun and rain.

You sit nicely on the Saale. Unfortunately, the construction site is still on at the weir. This is a bit annoying.

Delicious food with a seat right on the water. Kind to it ... What more could you want!

Fast kitchen. Still good, tasty food. Moderate prices. Friendly staff. Only the interior urgently needs an update.

We have been here several times and were satisfied. Today we had ordered aspic with fried potatoes and roasted potatoes with roasted potatoes .. Asphalt and roasted potatoes were slightly too salty and the fried potatoes were an impertinence! Partly burned .... Had said that to the boss and he replied that they were cross !! and there was no apology. He then brought another portion of fried potatoes. Unfortunately, unfortunately, no excuses, just excuses ..... SHADE.

The place itself is nice and offers some sights. But these sh .... speed cameras ....

Despite the Corona crisis, everything is OK, price performance ok

Very friendly service, the food was great. Unfortunately a bit noisy due to the construction work on the Saale. But the innkeepers can't do anything about that.

And really liked it all around. The staff was super nice and very accommodating. The food was freshly prepared and especially the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The terrace directly at the weir invites you to linger. We can absolutely recommend this hotel. We say thank you 😊😊😊😊😊

Finally a restaurant again. In addition, it is beautifully located, right on the weir in Bad Kösen. And the food was really delicious ... We really enjoyed being in a restaurant again. No to go, no paper cups, no mask ... Thanks to the friendly team.

Today we had a delicious meal with 4 adults & 2 children and there was ice cream for dessert. 🤩 The landlord & his wife are great in every situation (nimble, friendly & fast) and Affordable 🙂❣To the kitchen too🖕❣
